Established in 1915, the Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication is named after legendary Atlanta journalist and University of Georgia alum, Henry Woodfin Grady (1850-1889). The Grady College offers undergraduate degrees in advertising, public relations, journalism, entertainment and media studies. Certificate programs are available through Grady Sports Media, the New Media Institute and Public Affairs Communications. The College also offers a master's and doctoral degrees, as well as a certificate in media industry research.
