Unfortunately, our planet is facing multiple threats due to various human activities and one of which is plastic pollution. From poisoning and injuring marine life to disrupting human hormones, from littering our beaches and landscapes to clogging our waste streams and landfills, the exponential growth of plastics is now threatening the survival of our planet. With almost 8 billion tonnes of plastic dumped in the ocean each year, plastic pollution has grown into a grave threat. It isn’t far that the world will turn into plastic. Sir David Attenborough inspired us to start Planet before Plastic initiative. We at ‘Planet Before Plastic’ aim to sensitize people against the problem of plastic pollution, the world is facing today. Our vision is to involve the community and take initiatives on the ground.
