Blacktown International Sportspark was originally developed for the Sydney 2000 Olympic games. The park has continued to grow its reputation as a world class venue for sporting teams and the local community. The Sportspark encourages inclusive participation in, and the development of, athletes and teams at a local, regional, national and international level. Organisations that call the Sportspark home include; the Western Sydney Wanderers Football Club, GWS Giants, Sydney Blue Sox, Sydney Thunder, the NSW Breakers and the Young Matildas. Blacktown Exercise Sports and Technology Hub (BEST) will open at the Sportspark in early 2023. BEST will deliver world-class facilities, patient care and rehabilitation services alongside leading education and research programs, right in the heart of Western Sydney. BEST will be a unique, first-class resource for Blacktown City and Western Sydney, and we are proud to partner with the Australian Catholic University, Sydney West Sports Medicine, WentWest, and the AFL as well as the many teams that call the Sportspark home to enhance performance across many sports. Blacktown International Sportspark sits at the heart of the Western Sydney Parklands (Eastern Road, Rooty Hill) and is owned and managed by Blacktown City Council.
