House of Urban Arts is a home base where talents and interested parties can develop their knowledge in Urban Arts. This with the aim of generating opportunities and opening doors for a group that cannot find their place elsewhere, within the current framework of the art world. We are a place where talents and artists come together, where they experience personal, artistic and creative freedom that is stimulated and guided by the community itself. With House of Urban Arts we offer a fully-fledged and open curriculum, so that we contribute more widely to improving the living environment of young people. These lessons are intended for young people who want to get acquainted with Urban Arts in an accessible way, but also young people who want to excel in this. The target group is reached by the affordable classes and master classes in their own neighborhood, from entry-level to advanced level. Every quarter we program an event. We also put effort in programming specifically on a particular cultural background in order to reach less visible cultures (such as Polish, Bulgarian and Somali culture). We work intensively with a selection of young (local) entrepreneurs and influencers and engage professionals to sharpen the offer for each discipline. Our services include programming for external parties, event organization and the delivery of productions. Cultural entrepreneurs can also rent a workspace / office from us in our building. We offer young people and young adults a wide range of regular classes, the in-depth program School of Urban Arts, the professional masterclasses under House of Urban Creators and minor- and major companies under Future in Dance.
