SlackPress is a social enterprise funded by Invest NI Social Enterprise Programme. Founded in 2013, SlackPress produces short media solutions for many local businesses and voluntary organisations, giving them the chance to enter the online market and get maximum exposure to their organisation. We specifically work with charities and SME's to produce videos for Social Networking or websites or to be distributed on DVD or Blu-Ray. As a social enterprise, we give discounted services to these target groups so we can help them develop media literacy in their business and among their staff. SlackPress also design and maintain websites and social networking accounts for small organisations. We also design and construct Prezi presentations and work with individuals to create a presentation which will have a lasting memory on its audience. As a social enterprise, we also provide jobs to unemployed media graduates and help them develop their extra-curricular experience to maximise their employment prospectives. We also aim to provide educational feature documentaries centred around various health issues such as obesity, addiction and healthy living or social issues such as cyber-bullying and sectarianism.
