Calcean’s foundation is rooted in harvesting this naturally precipitated oolitic aragonite from lease concessions granted to it in the Bahamas. Calcium carbonate is found in a plethora of industries ranging from construction to cosmetics; paint to agricultural feeds, in addition to plastics. Calcean seeks to bring this unique source of calcium carbonate through aragonite sands to a broad spectrum of end users, whereby alleviating other environmentally adverse alternatives.
