Back in 2015 I was 25 and had just launched a social media company. I was ready for the challenges that came with being a businesswoman in a patriarchal world, but I wasn't ready for how lost I'd feel in trying to figure out how to be a "legit" woman in business. It's easy to feel alone when you're self-employed, especially if you work from home, and yearn for a community of trusted peers who are open to bouncing around ideas.
