Founded in 1998 by Quim Teixidor who dedicated himself to the production of cutting-edge cycling apparel. TACTIC originates in the custom sportswear business, TACTIC initially catered to all sports before ultimately focusing on cycling, triathlon and running. Eventually, and with the growing interest in cycling in the Girona region, after years of producing only custom kits for clubs and individuals, TACTIC launched an in-house collection of cycling kit designs. In 2018, after twenty years of producing sports clothing in the original building, the TACTIC factory underwent a major refurbishment. The new factory layout centred around a concept of transparency, with glass panels throughout the offices and factory floor creating a true sense of community amongst the team who work there. The factory revamp also introduced a large, open sitting and dining area for the team to relax and gather during lunch and break times. This area also doubles up as an events space where talks, team presentations and product launches have since been held. Newly installed showers and changing rooms allow those who want to ride or run during the day or commute by bike to wash and change and even wash their clothing in the adjacent washing machines. Fundamental to the new TACTIC HQ was the ability to open our doors to the public through guided tours of our factory with the aim of showcasing to the community the in-house production we are so proud of. Part of this is our factory shop, which is open to the public during working hours and allows customers to see exactly where the kit they want to purchase comes from. Behind every item of TACTIC clothing is over twenty years of experience in designing and producing the highest quality sportswear. Our objective is to keep on progressing in order to offer you top quality and comfort in technical cycling clothes.
