The German Association for Personnel Management was founded by representatives from the business world and science sector in 1952. DGFP is a non profit-making organization, headquartered in Frankfurt/M. DGFP has more than 2000 members ranging from large, medium-sized & smaller companies. DGFP's mission is to promote HR-management in practical terms, research and training. There are also about 4000 HR experts & personnel managers who are sharing their experience & knowledge in regular meetings held tow to three times a year. In 1962 the DGFP was one of the founding members of the European Association for Personnel Management (EAPM). Its aim is to promote HR expertise among professionals across Europe. As of its international HR network, DGFP is able to set up contacts for its members world wide.
