FINSTAS is a study association at Leiden University with a strong focus on the master's programmes ‘Financieel Recht’ and the Advanced Master Law & Finance, and is based on three pillars, namely: (i) improving and increasing the cohesion between people with a keen interest in financial law. (ii) enthusing prospective master students in studying financial law. (iii) introducing students to law firms, banks, corporates and regulatory authorities and vice versa. In addition, FINSTAS aims to discover the dynamics of financial law and to broaden the horizon of the students, both academically and with regards to career prospects.
