Aswad is a community dedicated to what its members like to call « Ink Culture ». It explores the stories and art behind inked skin in North Africa. It is about self-expression. It’s an invitation to meet people from all walks of life who are drawn to tattoos for different reasons because they find them beautiful, empowering, therapeutic or a tangible way of holding on to important memories.
