Revolution Teen Center, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. We are a proactive community teen center providing guidance and growth opportunities for 7th – 12th-grade students in the community through free after-school programs, entertainment, and special events. Our vision is to be a place of impact and empowerment for students to believe they have potential, a purpose, and to become productive and confident members of their community. Our mission is to provide acceptance, attention, and direction to local teens through after-school programs and events. Core Values: We aspire to TRANSFORM lives, SHOW excellence, VALUE self, ACCEPT others, SHOW integrity and FIND purpose through the following (5) buckets. CONNECT – It’s a scientific fact, we all need human connectivity. CONNECT is designed to connect students with peers and adult volunteers in a safe and fun environment, while providing support, volunteer and internship opportunities for students. REAL LIFE – Life is a journey and every learned skill an opportunity for future success. REAL LIFE institutes opportunities for students to learn skills from experienced volunteers in a safe and fun setting. BRAINWORKS – We all need a little help now and again and through BRAINWORKS, we serve to help students engage their left brain as they participate in activities designed to grow into their leadership potential, increase their grade point average and find the confidence that may be lacking in a subject. We have warrior volunteers ready to help students with homework and needed tutoring. MIND/BODY – We believe that if you take care of your body that it will take care of you. Through MIND/BODY, we seek to introduce students to fun programs that help their brains and their bodies become active, fit and strong. EXPRESSIONS – Everyone has a creative streak. Through EXPRESSIONS, we serve to help students engage their right brain as they participate in activities such as painting, drawing, music, etc.
