With a combined 20+ years in the IT industry, working as IT engineers and managers, WePickUpTech founders realized that e-waste was a growing problem. Companies often lack a responsible way of discarding retired technology, and we saw firsthand the piles of old equipment in storage closets and the stacks of old switches still mounted to racks with new ones right underneath. We decided that there has to be a way to get rid of the accumulations and dispose of the waste in an eco-friendly manner. That is why we founded WePickUpTech—to help businesses properly dispose of their unwanted technology at no cost to them. We provide a sustainable future for our planet while shouldering companies' burden of dealing with excess or damaged equipment. How? We refurbish and breathe new life into recycled items, then assist consumers and organizations alike who cannot afford or would otherwise rather not buy new equipment.
