Established under the name Vacationist Media LLC in 2020 by the former editors of Tripadvisor’s SmarterTravel, Airfarewatchdog, and Family Vacation Critic websites, we are now the fastest growing privately held travel media company in the United States with a reach of more than 4 million readers annually. We launched our flagship publication, FamilyVacationist, in May of 2020. In 2021, Vacationist Media became an official content partner of USA Today. In late 2022, we debuted a second website called TourScoop, which is dedicated to providing in-depth tour company overviews, tour itinerary reviews, and travel tips for guided tour travelers.
