Tropical Medicine and Infectious Disease

Tropical Medicine and Infectious Disease (ISSN 2414-6366) publishes authoritative and original articles, critical and systematic reviews, editorials, perspectives, short communications, commentaries, book reviews, letters to the editor and Special Issues on all aspects of tropical medicine and tropical infectious disease. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced. There is, in addition, a unique feature of this journal: We accept studies showing meaningful but negative results. While there are many journals that focus on tropical medicine and infectious disease studies, none of them actively accept negative results. As a result, most negative data do not end up in the public domain, even if the data were meaningfully negative and the study was well-designed. By accepting such negative results, our journal encourages scientists to share these data, so that they will not need to repeat experiments that somebody else has already done.
