Stribog Power OÜ is the global supplier of used wind turbines. We took active role in the present repowering process that you have chance to see in the complete Europe, where turbines that already worked for 10-15 years are going to be replaced by new turbines. Stribog Power OU takes care of the used or sometimes also called “second hand turbines”, putting them on the market, doing dismantling, transport, and re-installation on the new locations all around the Europe. There are many reasons to buy second-hand instead of new wind turbines: *Lower investment costs and therefore higher rate of returns. *Shorter payback time (in some cases due to the high feed-in tariffs even only 2-3 years). *Second-hand turbines have already proved their reliability during their first operational period. Only turbines from reliable manufacturers are being offered. *In some critical situations such as high development costs, retroactive cuts of feed-in tariffs or the absence of them may make the installation of a second-hand turbine the only viable solution. Considering these facts, we can be proud that we are making wind energy more available for everybody, in order to protect our environment and save planet Earth for our children.
