The Elyxyr Group Inc. is a consulting firm marrying Management Consulting and Information Technology to provide a suite of IT-based services and solutions to various sectors including Education and Social Developmental Services. In 1993, Elyxyr Group Inc. was established under the name IMS Inc. The name changed to The Elyxyr Group Inc. in 2001. The word 'elixir' means a single solution that fixes all ailments. That is what Elyxyr does from a technological perspective - we develop solutions that address organizational problems while taking into account people, processes and technology. The Elyxyr Group's foray in the Education sector began in 1995 with the former North York Board of Education to develop a solution to leverage Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for facilities management. In 1998, Elyxyr developed the first entirely web-based solution for Community Use of Schools for the Toronto Catholic District School Board for which the Board and Elyxyr was awarded the Diamond Award in Showcase Ontario for public-private partnership. Since then, Elyxyr has developed numerous solutions under the board umbrella of facilities management for the Education sector. In 2013, Elyxyr celebrated its 20th anniversary, a significant milestone for any IT company. This is a testament to the value added proposition we bring to the services and solutions we provide.
