EMS Integrators has launched EMSi5340, a BT carrier board based on the Nordic semiconductor nRF5340. This product will include both USB and RS232, foundation firmware based on Zephyr RTOS, and support numerous 3rd party applications such as mobile credentials, beacon indoor location services, etc. Enclosed in a custom enclosure with an option for battery operations, the EMSi5340 will have system-approval certification for FCC, IC, CE, & AS/NZ. An ideal platform for software companies to globally launch their products and applications with an already proven hardware design with foundation firmware.
