Balquhidder Community Broadband is a Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to bringing globally competitive broadband service to the Balquhidder area of the Trossachs, in the Scottish Highlands. Founded after years of repeated failure by government and British Telecom to deliver any meaningful services to this area, BCB is now rolling out its FTTP broadband services, at an initial 1Gb/s. We are supported by volunteer effort with capital funding coming from private investment, Stirling Council, Bogons Ltd (our ISP partner) and the EU's LEADER fund.
