African Artists’ Foundation (AAF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and development of contemporary African art. At AAF we believe in the transformational power of art and its ability to make a lasting impact on society. We want to be a catalyst of change, empowering the art scene in West Africa. Opening the minds of many above and beyond the privileged few. Increasing the pulling power of artist and photographers from within West Africa and the diaspora. Be a positive voice, fighting stereotypes, tell the African narrative from the inside out. We are always open for a request to work together as long as we can empower the artists and photographers in Nigeria and West Africa, strengthen the narrative and tell stories from the continent from the inside out. If we can find a shared purpose we can work together. AAF started the following projects: Lagos Photo Festival – began in 2010 as the first and only international arts festival of photography in Nigeria.
