MDM Publishing Ltd is a privately owned business, located in Yeovil, Somerset, UK. The company was formed in November 1999 by business partners Dave Staddon and Mark Seton, who continue to run the business today. The company currently has a portfolio of five print magazines and six websites and is one of the world’s leading publishers in the fire and safety industry. Dave and Mark continue to provide day-to-day leadership and are always looking for new opportunities to move the business forward. In November 1999, they set up MDM Publishing Ltd and launched International Fire Protection in February 2000. International Fire Protection quickly cemented itself as the “must-read” title for the Fire Protection industry. Asia Pacific Fire was launched in March 2002 and was a huge success. International Fire Fighter quickly followed in February 2004. Following a period of consolidation, Gulf Fire was launched at Intersec, Dubai in January 2016 and received instant approval from the industry. Building on this success, UK Fire is set to launch in May 2018. Born from a desire to give the UK fire market a magazine that is content focused and aimed at raising professional standards.
