The Equine Rescue League supports the responsible use of working, sport and pleasure horses, ponies, donkeys and mules. Our goals are to prevent neglect or abuse of any equine, offer educational programs and create public awareness to the community, provide rehabilitation and adoption services for animals in need of our services, provide physical/emotional rehabilitation to abused and neglected equines, assist humane officers and to reduce abuse and neglect occurrences in the Greater Washington area.
