Startup Szeged originally started only as a technical community. In the beginning the organisation organized and hosted only meetups, workshops and hackathons in the field of IT, to share knowledge and make people to connect with each other. There were lots of topics like Machine Learning, IoT, Web Development, Mobile Development, DevOps etc. By now it is more than just a technical community. It has strong role in the startup ecosystem in Szeged. Partnered with several actors in the field e.g. INPUT Program, University of Szeged, SzegedBoost, Design Terminal, Flow Academy. So now there are also meetups, workshops and hackathons related to startups and lots of other events like coworking days in cafes, networking nights, idea challenges. The main intention of the organisation is to make people leave their comfort zones, to connect, to learn, to grow and to achieve more.
