Already home to the Australian Space Agency, Australian Institute of Machine Learning, MIT bigdata Living Lab, Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre and the Stone and Chalk startup hub, Lot Fourteen has now welcomed Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud to the district. In 2022, construction commences on the Entrepreneur and Innovation Centre and Innovation Hub. The EIC will deliver the next generation office building, a workplace that encompasses sustainable building design, health and wellness, equality, social connectivity and innovation. Also commencing construction in 2022 is Tarrkarri - Centre for First Nations Cultures. The Centre will include spaces for permanent and visiting exhibitions, cultural performances, education, meetings and ceremonies, gathering and events; and will also host a café and retail space. The Centre will provide a shared platform for the world to learn about the unique cultures and incredible story of Australia’s First Peoples; driving awareness and understanding, and symbolising deep healing and reconciliation.
