The Melanoma Foundation of New England was founded in 1999 to combat the rising rate of melanoma and melanoma deaths. We provide a variety of educational programs targeting the prevention and early detection of skin cancer and melanoma and support services for patients and families struggling with melanoma, including both face to face and telephonic support groups and Billy's Buddies, a one-on-one patient advocacy and support program. A Medical Advisory Board and Board of Directors comprised of business people, healthcare professionals and leading melanoma specialists provide guidance for the foundation.
