Team Averera, a group of automotive enthusiasts from IIT(BHU), Varanasi, developers of India’s most energy-efficient car. Team Averera is the champion team at Shell Eco-Marathon Asia 2019- a platform provided by Shell for the young minds to innovate sustainable mobility for the future. Over the years, the team has innovated on multiple fronts, from developing India’s first self-made motor controller to working on premium material like carbon fiber, our team has successfully implemented every idea. This year, the team has undertaken a new endeavor of Urban Concept Vehicle- a scaled model of a conventional car powered by the hydrogen fuel cell. The processes going on in the manufacturing of vehicles are mainly taking place under four streams, which are Carbon Fibre body manufacturing, Development of hydrogen fuel cell stack, Aluminum part manufacturing, and Electronic Assembly, including torque vectoring system and an AI-based driver user interface.
