~ CELEBRATING 5 YEARS OF AKSHARIKA ~ Aksharika Education Foundation is a non-profit company for child education based in Bhopal, India. Aksharika is a fresh, young and spirited approach to non-formal education. We use innovative modules to promote primary education, girl child education, girl child safety, child rights, women rights, literacy and environment awareness. We have organized 15 CREATIVE LEARNING SPACES - AKSHARIKA CHILDREN'S LIBRARY in 10 slums, 80 grass-root activities and public events, and achieved an outreach of over 1000 child beneficiaries across 15 slums between 2013 and 2017. We dream to create a team of teachers and trainers by skill development of community youth. CURRENTLY PLANNING sustainable modules for our 3 Core Projects – Library Project for slum/rural children, Gender Equality awareness, Skill Development in education.
