Die Gesellschaft für Freiheitsrechte e.V. ist die Rechtsschutzversicherung unseres Grundgesetzes. Wir kämpfen mit rechtlichen Mitteln für Grund- und Menschenrechte. Die GFF betreibt strategische Prozessführung mit einem klaren Fokus: Wir stärken die Freiheitsrechte gegen staatliche Verletzungen. Die GFF verteidigt beispielsweise die Privatsphäre, die Informationsfreiheit und die Pressefreiheit gegen unrechtmäßige Eingriffe. Zudem setzt sie sich für die Freiheit von Diskriminierung ein. Sie bringt dafür geeignete Kläger*innen (z.B. Journalist*innen) mit exzellenten Jurist*innen zusammen, um gemeinsam gerichtlich gegen Rechtsverletzungen vorzugehen. We strategically advocate through all legal means available for basic and human rights in Germany and Europe. Our strategic litigation approach has a distinct focus: to strengthen civil liberties against State infringement. Our work in this field is diverse. For example, the GFF protects privacy, freedom of information and the press against unjustified State encroachment. But we also fight for the right to freedom from discrimination. For the success of the complaints the GFF seeks out the ideal plaintiff, sets them up with an excellent legal team, to together take legal action against an infringement of a right in court.
