Here's 2 Life, Inc. is a non-profit that raises funds for suicide prevention awareness. Here's 2 Life! began as a fundraiser by the Holiday Celebration Club called No One is Alone. From the beginning, its primary purpose has been to raise funds for suicide prevention awareness programs. Currently, Here's 2 Life! is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It is a worldwide umbrella supporting a variety of influences for wiping out suicide; culminating in creative, artistic expressions that touch, move and inspire the celebration of life. We support a variety of non-profit organizations that target different areas involving suicide prevention. Here are some of the categories: Anti Bullying Youth Research Mental Illness Veterans Aging Media Campaigns We are now a global community working together with countries around the world to wipe out suicide. To name a few: Australia, Belize, Denmark, United States, United Kingdom, The Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Israel, Switzerland, South Africa, Sri Lanka FACTS ABOUT SUICIDE Close to 800 000 people die due to suicide every year. The second leading cause of death in ages 25-34 The third leading cause of death from ages 15-24 The rate of suicide deaths among girls 15-19 reached a 40 year high in recent years Male suicide deaths are nearly four times the rate of females Among young people, for every suicide death, twenty-five are attempted. Alarming statistics reveal a staggering number of veterans, twenty per day, end their own lives. Ingestion of pesticide, hanging and firearms are among the most common methods of suicide globally.
