Glow for Cushing's is a non-profit organization eager to raise Cushing's Disease awareness among the general public. Awareness efforts are made through awesome glow in the dark 5K run/walk experiences. Currently this event is only organized in Boise, Idaho as the Boise Glow for Cushing's Awareness 5K or BO-GLO 5K for short. Participants light up the course with glow sticks and lights while running or walking through black light tunnels, strobe lights, and more. In 2013, BO-GLO had 600 participants and raised $10,000 for Cushing's Disease awareness and research efforts.
