Taylor Knights are Melbourne based architects and interior designers specialising in highly refined and sensitive residential and commercial design. Our projects span metropolitan and rural Victoria. We strive to achieve a sense of order that will deliver an architectural experience of enduring enjoyment, enthusiasm and admiration for the spaces we create. We have no preconceived formulas, no ‘house style’ and no preferences for specific materials. Instead, we seek to understand and then celebrate the unique potential of each project. Our work embraces the concept of the ‘architectural promenade’, referring to the journey through a built space. Through careful management of flow, light and texture, we endeavour to enrich the journey by heightening the sensory experience. A collaborative studio environment allows both principles to be involved across all areas of the business and all stages of a project. We enjoy variety, and take pleasure in working across residential projects from private homes to large-scale developments, as well as public and commercial projects.
