Capital Area Transport Service provides wheelchair accessible transportation for ambulatory and non-ambulatory clients servicing hospitals, nursing homes, medical offices, rehab facilities, dialysis centers, and thousands of individual customers of all ages. Additionally we provide transportation for special events, leisure outings, and airport transportation. We believe and follow core principles of providing safe, reliable, timely, and affordable transportation to the disabled and able-bodied clients alike. We are headquartered in Montgomery County MD, licensed by Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Commission, and accept most forms of payment. We are contracted for Medicaid Transportation with Montgomery County DOT, and MD Department of Health and Human Services, as well as Optum (Medicare United Healthcare). Our core geographical area is MD, Washington DC, and Northern VA.
