The Polish Forum of Young Diplomats is a nationwide non-governmental organization that brings together students and graduates of a number of Polish and foreign universities, who have defined career ambitions of working in an international environment. The vast majority of nearly 200 members of the PFYD are people with experience in national and international non-governmental organizations as well as, employees of the Polish public administration and the European Union institutions. The PFYD was established in 2002 and since then has been achieving its goals and objectives through 7 regional representations based in Katowice, Cracow, Poznan, Torun, Tricity, Warsaw and Wroclaw. The PFYD is registered as a Public Benefit Organization. The PFYD is a member of the Zagranica Group, the European Union - Russia Civil Society Forum and NGO Network (IVF). The PFYD participates in the work of Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum.
