The George on Collins is a Melbourne establishment. Located on Collins Street in the heart of the CBD, The George on Collins is a popular after work venue for city corporates. After transitioning from The Longroom in 2016-17 the venue has delivered corporate functions, after show parties and personal celebrations. The interior of the venue oozes sophistication and therefore attracts likeminded guests, whether it be for a midweek dinner or cocktails for the weekend. Being the former Longroom venue, the business has undergone extensive renovations and rebranding, reopening as The George on Collins. We reopened in June 2017 after several months of renovations. Like the Longroom, we have a sharing based concept of our food however we are now dedicated to all day lunch and dinner available with a strong focus on our late nights. We want customers to feel like they can come here to eat, drink and party.
