The Lackland Independent School District (Lackland ISD) is a Texas public school district located on the Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. Our district is comprised of two schools, the Lackland Elementary School and the Virginia Allred Stacey Junior-Senior High School. We seek to be the premier leader in educational excellence by providing world-class instructional programs that promote lifetime success for the military child. We are a "Future Ready" school district that focuses on preparing our students with 21st century skills. We offer many innovative programs, including an incomparable student-to-student support system, a 1:1 iPad program, robotics offerings at both the elementary and secondary levels, and AVID courses to prepare students for collegiate success.
