The Job Ready Programme is for international students in Canterbury who are wanting to find employment in New Zealand after graduation. The first part of the programme is a series of workshops to train students in job seeking skills and kiwi work culture. After the workshop series, students are matched with businesses where there is a transfer of skills and knowledge for both the student and business. The programme offers training and mentor ship after placement for both the businesses and international interns involved to ensure it all goes to plan. The majority of students from the first 4 cohorts are in internships or paid work.
