The Wisconsin Health Information Management Association (WHIMA) is a non-profit organization whose membership consists of health information management professionals employed in hospitals and other healthcare settings throughout the state. The mission of WHIMA is "Through leadership, WHIMA promotes innovation, education, and advancement of health information professionals." WHIMA has 2300+ members and is a component state association affiliated with the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). To join WHIMA, you must be a member of AHIMA and designate Wisconsin as your state association.
