Mt. Holiday’s mission is to provide year round educational and outdoor recreational activities in a safe, clean and inviting environment for people of all ages. In 1949, Mt. Holiday was founded by a group of individuals looking create an outdoor activity in the winter. After much history, Mt. Holiday was purchased by a handful of interested community members and has been operating as a non-profit 501 (c)(3) since 2002. We are not publicly funded by the city or the state, but rely solely on the donations and contributions of families, friends, and supporters who share our passion for the outdoors. Currently Mt. Holiday offers 14 runs ranging from beginner to difficult, a large tubing hill for entire family, and snow shoeing & cross country track. Mt. Holiday boasts a full service rental department, ski school, a youth race team, and full service bar and restaurant.
