Police Charities UK
www.policecharitiesuk.orgPolice Charities UK is not a charity in its own right, but it is a unique group of UK police focused charities who collaborate where appropriate for the benefit of all serving and former members of UK police forces and their families. They meet formally only twice a year, in February and October. The website acts as a reference guide for anyone who may need to access the services of our constituent members, be looking to support an appropriate charity through a fundraising event, or simply wanting to know more about what we do. The charities table lists the constituent members, what they do, who their beneficiaries are, and in which areas they operate. Links will take you directly to their own websites, where you can find out more, including details of how to get involved or make donations. It is not a merger of police charities or an exhaustive list, but as you will find, they are all quite different. The current members are; • Police Firearms Officers' Association • Police Pensioners' Housing Association Ltd • The Police Treatment Centres • Care of Police Survivors • The Gurney Fund • Police Care UK • St.George's Police Children Trust • National Police Memorial Day • Police Arboretum Memorial Trust • Police Memorial Trust • Police Roll of Honour Trust • Defence (Police) Medical Welfare Services • North West Police Benevolent Fund • Scottish Police Memorial Trust • The Blue Lamp Foundation • Police Rehabilitation Centre, Flint House • Scottish Police Benevolent Fund • Christian Police Association • Metropolitan and City Police Orphans Fund • Avon and Somerset Constabulary Benevolent Fund • Sussex Police Charitable Trust • West Midlands Police Benevolent Fund
