Soca Clothing first opened its doors in 2000 at Five Points South in Downtown Birmingham. Soca offered the city a new shopping experience with a unique selection of contemporary women’s apparel and a vast collection of designer denim. Soca quickly became known for its outstanding customer service and adopted the nickname of “Birmingham’s denim destination.” In 2007, Soca relocated to the prominent Eighteenth Street in Downtown Homewood allowing the team to better connect with its customers and the community. Soca's new home and stylish client base enabled the brand to grow as a strong leader in the fashion industry and was voted “Best Boutique” three years in a row by Birmingham Magazine readers. Since 2011, Soca has opened another location in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and has expanded to online retail at socaclothing.com to serve an even greater audience.
