Diya Foundation – Who we are? Diya Foundation is a social welfare and charitable society, founded with the objective of propagating welfare of the underprivileged in the society with special emphasis on the welfare of slum children, handicapped, aged and destitute. It has been founded by a group of doctors. Professionals and Entrepreneurs with common aim of upliftment of the underprivileged, improvement in the living conditions of slum children and providing help for the destitute and aged people. In its quest to provide succor to the underprivileged, the Foundation is being ably guided by Eminent Doctor, Educationists and Technocrats.  A social welfare and charitable society formed in 2003.  Founded by group of young Doctors, Professionals and Entrepreneurs.  It is a registered charitable society under the Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860 and Income Tax Act,1961  Donations are eligible for deduction from income under section 80G of Income Tax Act, 1961  Diya Foundation is registered under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 1976 in India vide Registration No. 231660815 and is authorized to accept foreign contributions.
