DISTINCT STAR SCHOOLS was established in January 2010 by God through Mrs Jolade Adaramewa. It all began as a “home away from home” creche caring tenderly for young minds. DDS was borne out of the vision of distinct stars shining in the dark. The ideology of the Creche hangs on laying a solid foundation for children who will be stars in their generation, children who are distinct by setting standards for others to follow. DDS is based on the concept of providing daycare like mother care The Nursery and Elementary school otherwise known as Primary started in September 2011 with the motive of contributing positively to the development of education in Nigeria as well as a model institution where Godly children in all race could be given equal opportunity and total education to prepare and equip them to serve in the society at large. Since inception, all academic and social effort had been employed to ensure that the school achieves it purpose. We promote the well being of our children by ensuring the three basic domains of learning which are; Psychomotor, Cognitive and Affective skills are applied amongst others to produce an all-round child (ren) and to facilitate the achievement of a sound quantitative education.
