Mid County Fire Protection District covers 220 square miles of Camden County, Mo. Much of the Lake of the Ozarks is contained within our district boundaries. We have 6 stations and two fire boats. We are a combination paid and volunteer force. We were formed after passage of a vote of the residents with us changing from a fire association called Camden Rural Fire to Mid County Fire Protection District.
