Integrated Payments Service Limited (IPSL) formation can be traced back to 2012. Established by the Kenya Bankers Association (KBA) under the National Payment System (NPS) Act, IPSL was formed to address the challenge of integrating retail payments in the country. The company was established to provide a secure, fast and efficient money transfer system by tapping into the latest technological advances. The inter-banking money transfer service, branded PesaLink, allows customers to send money from one bank account to another bank account in real time on all banks’ retail payment channels including mobile, ATM, Internet banking, Agency, Bank branches and POS. IPSL aims at creating value for the industry, banks and customers through innovation and interoperability.
