POWER 2 HELP supports people who want to make a sustainable social commitment and currently provides seven learning modules that can be used anywhere, free of charge, at any time and independently. Each module offers learning experiences of about one hour's duration and consists of videos, reading and learning materials, and reflection questions. The topics are: • Young people get involved • Diversity and intercultural communication • Negotiating and dealing with conflicts • Dealing with radio, TV and print media • Burnout prevention and resilience • Motivation and leadership in volunteer work • Forms of organisation and financing We are looking forward to an exchange of experience. The creation of the eLearning modules "Youth", "Diversity" and "Negotiate" was made possible by the kind support of Henkel Central Eastern Europe GmbH. POWER 2 HELP was created as an independent initiative to support helpers in the care of asylum seekers. In spring 2016, a variety of skills were taught in ten evening workshops at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. The workshops were successfully completed by more than 300 participants and received excellent feedback. In order to be able to impart these valuable experiences to an even larger number of people, we have since summarized the most important contents in Internet-based learning modules.
