Since 1969 AC International Child Support has worked to secure a better and more dignified life for children in especially difficult circumstances around the world. For around 40 years we have made a decisive difference for thousands of children and their families. We still do. We do this through our development projects in Ethiopia, Colombia and Bolivia. We do it through our sponsorship programs in India, Ethiopia, Colombia and Ecuador. We do it through our aid projects in more than 20 countries. We also do it through placing children in intercountry adoption with Danish parents, when the individual child’s right to grow up in a family is no longer possible in the child’s home country. And we do it through our Post Adoption work her in Denmark, counselling and supporting adoptive families and adoptees – children or grown-ups. We fight for the Rights of the Child. All children have the right to grow up in a family with care and love. All children have the right to have a childhood without hunger, need, violence and hard work. All children have the right to go to school. All children have the right to be respected and the right to be heard. All children have the right to their own history. We fight for children’s right to a good and safe childhood.
