Getting Connected: As a leader, you sign-up your school or organization. You can also add counselors, teachers, team-leads to track student progress - Think Classroom. Student Usage: - Students create an email based account and start withe the personality assessment. This module ask basic questions about likes & habits. Other modules. - Personality Details: After completing the assessment, College Compass returns a personality summary. The summary includes overall personality traits, strengths, challenges, and much more. It also provides a large list of careers (college and non-college oriented). - Explore New Careers: Students can review each career and add potentially interesting careers to their favorites list. - Evaluate Potential Careers: With the favorites list started, students are given tasks for each career such as watch PROVIDED videos on the career. When finished, they give the career a ranking. - Paths to My Career: With a narrowed list of careers, students can review the path necessary - college or otherwise. They also perform tasks for the paths and add to separate favorites list if desired. - Evaluate Career Paths: Students have the opportunity to fully explore the career paths through a series of exercises and questions. When finished they will have a narrow list of careers and career paths with an understand of the commitment required. College Compass tracks and grades each module and all this information is available to you and other leaders!
