When Monica first decided to pursue entrepreneurship, she had her fair share of struggle— at one point living out of a suit case in the back room of her first office (on a blow-up air mattress that would deflate halfway through each night!), before she achieved success. After consulting for and building several successful businesses in various niches (real estate, fashion, consumer products, etc.), one which hit 6 figures in just under 6 months, she refocused on what she loves most— making investing and wealth-building opportunities more accessible to communities of color. As a strong believer that "sometimes saving money and planting roots is an act of revolution", Monica created the Wealth Revolution Mastermind™— a membership program designed to empower women to create multi-generational wealth by investing in themselves and in real estate. She is also an investor in several tech and service based start-ups focused on serving Latinx audiences. Monica writes & speaks on the intersections of culture, wealth-building and real estate, is a regular contributor to The Huffington Post invited by Arianna Huffington herself, and the Medium publication #RealEstateLoveNotes. As a Business Success Coach and Nero linguistic Programming Master Practitioner, certified by the International Business and Entrepreneurship Association, Monica has been invited to speak and lead workshops on topics ranging from motivation to branding and business at multiple collegiate institutions and national organizations including her alma mater, The University of Southern California, among others. She also believes very strongly in giving back to the community and contributes a portion of her profits to the Giveback Homes mission to build homes for families in need throughout the US and Central America.
