ALEC MASSEL REAL ESTATE (PTY) LTD, a household name in the Real Estate industry was acquired by Mr Alec Massel during the 1930’s. Due to ill health, Mr Alec Massel was forced to retire from the business in 1974 and his son Clive Massel managed the Company thereafter. During 1978, John Beron and Ian Bick acquired shares in the business, joining Clive Massel as directors, the latter resigned from the company in 1990 and Ian Bick became the sole proprietor. Ian Bick passed away in October 2006 and Breena Bick became the CEO. The Company continues with its operations still developing a footprint in the Property industry, rendering property related services and exploring to this day new opportunities. During 2003, Kobus Kleynhans was appointed Managing Director, which position he still hold. Bankers are Standard Bank and ABSA Bank; Auditor is Lutrin & Associates.
