UAS Colorado is a non-profit industry advocacy group that is committed to promoting and growing the commercial drone industry in Colorado, specifically supporting the safe integration and use of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) for the benefit of the general public. In this role, UAS Colorado seeks to provide the following services to help promote the adoption and successful use of unmanned systems within the state: + Provide organizational structure and support for professionals, commercial organizations, government agencies, schools and special-interest groups within Colorado’s UAS industry. + Advance commercial and research activities of the two (2) FAA-authorized UAS test ranges in Colorado: San Luis Valley (http://slvuas.com) and Chaffee County (http://chaffeeuas.org/). + Provide regularly scheduled industry events to promote professional networking and to discuss new unmanned technologies and industry advancements. + Conduct public awareness and public relations campaigns to help the general public understand the application and significance of unmanned aircraft systems for the Colorado economy.
